Infused botanic body oil

Infused botanic body oil

Infused oils are a gentle way to extract the healing properties of a plant. They are a simple way & cost-effective way to nourish the skin.

I use a basic infused oil for many of my skincare rituals. They make a great base to the recipes that call for oils so feel free to use your infused oil in place of the suggested oil.

Use them on the body, as a massage oil or a few drops in the bath to hydrate.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150 ml olive oil or other oil (sweet almond oil, jojoba oil or avocado oil)

  • 50 ml melted coconut oil, you can leave this out but it’s wonderful for extra nourishment at this time of year

  • 2 tbsp dried herbs or botanicals - suggestions below

    • Lavender for relaxation

    • Chamomile for calming

    • Rose petals for hydration

    • Vanilla pod for a holiday vibe
