Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoo is a quick fix to give you a few days grace when you don't have time to wash it.

It works by soaking up any visible oils close to the scalp & if you have soft floppy hair like mine it will even give you a little extra body.

It will also save water & time as you are not washing your hair as often.

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp tapioca or arrowroot flour

2 tbsp colouring as below

TOOLS

Small bowl

Spoon

Small jar - old spice jars are great

COLOURING

Light hair - cacao or cocoa powder

Red hair - cinnamon

Dark hair-activated charcoal

METHOD

Sanitise equipment & surface area.

Carefully blend the flour & colouring of your choice together in a small bowl.

Test it out on your hair colour until you are happy with a relative match

Add to the jar or spice container

USE

Add a small amount to the palm of your hands & apply carefully to the roots, teasing it through until it blends with your natural hair.

NOTES

To avoid mess lean your head over the basin or in the shower tray for easy cleaning.

SHELF LIFE

12 months - always use clean hands when applying to avoid contamination
